Weekly Healing ServiceEach Thursday at noon a group of parishioners gather in the Chapel for
a Service of Healing with laying on of hands and Holy Communion available. While this service has taken place for many years,
it has gained new importance as the members lift up all our Grace sisters and brothers, both at First Christian and at CANA,
with prayers for healing and unity. As the sorrows of the larger world seem to increase, it is a true labor of love to come
together and hold up the needs of all the broken places. There are prayers for family members, for one another, for reconciliation
and for parishioners in need. To join in offering these intercessions within the company of the faithful is truly a gift that
provides a strong center to the week. We invite any who can add their voices to this weekly time of prayer and worship.
A bonus has developed since we are meeting at First Christian; often members continue their fellowship with lunch together.
All are welcome.

Adult Education
In keeping with our long-standing history
of providing adult education, Grace and St Stephen’s Episcopal Church will be providing a 45-minute class (from 11:30
AM to 12:15 PM) on Sunday mornings—just before our 12:45 PM worship. Our instructor will be our newly
appointed Priest-in-Charge, Fr. Michael O’Donnell, and will be based on one of his books, “Heart of the Warrior”. Our first string of classes, is entitled “Go tell it On
the Mountain” and will feature an in-depth study of King David and his “mighty men and women” in exile and
the lessons they learn from God atop of Mt Hebron. The purpose of this lesson series is to inspire HOPE
and ultimately prepare us (as an Episcopal parish) for a successful reoccupation arrangement. WE WILL MEET IN THE SOUTH END OF THE FELLOWSHIP HALL IN FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH.
ESM Commitment Ecumenical Social Ministries announced that it has partnered with ARC Thrift Stores to provide emergency clothing and
household goods for clients. Volunteer counselors work with clients to determine need and issue vouchers for use at any of
three ARC locations in Colorado Springs. To directly assist low income and homeless individuals and families, ESM encourages
you to consider making donations of clothes, shoes, cookware, and household items to any ARC location.
