Prayers
This page has prayers and thoughts sent to us from current and former parishoners and interested parties from around
the world.
Dear Members of Grace & St. Stephen's, I read in Episcopal News Service about the trouble....
I can't imagine what this experience has been like for you, but I wanted to let you know that my heart goes out to you
and I am praying for you. May God continue to grant you courage, faith, wisdom, love, and laughter when you need them most.
I hope that these will be gifts for you even in the most difficult and painful situations. I made some oatmeal raisin
cookies as a reminder that there are plenty of people in the body of Christ who care about you and support you. God bless
you. Peace & Love, Lucia Lloyd + May God continue to grant you courage, faith, wisdom, love,

I just
want to say how pleased I am that so many members of Grace Church have remained faithfully in the Diocese of Colorado, and
that you have an active e-mail address that responds to the name "Grace Episcopal Church!" Keep up the good
work! Rev. Robert G. Hewitt, former Rector (1968-1986) I would like you all---clergy,
vestry, and volunteers---to know how much I appreciate all you are doing. It seems as though someone has turned on a
light in a dark spot! Your courage, faith, and dedication are refreshing and an inspiration to me.
Blessings to all of you, you remain in my prayers. Mae Knudson
Fr. Michael,
My best wishes and prayers for Grace Church. I “grew
up” at Grace Church and my parents were members for more than 50 years before their deaths in 1995. I hope and
pray that you and the Diocese are successful in reclaiming Grace Church’s property. Bob Bates Belvidere,
IL
To the people of Grace and St Stephens, prayers. Prayers for those still worshiping in *your* church, as well,
and prayers for the Body of Christ, that divisions may be healed.
Faithfully,

Dear Michael, We heard of the situation there in Colorado Springs
and just wanted to send you and your faithful Episcopal congregation greetings and support from the Episcopal Church
of the Good Shepherd here in San Angelo, TX. I think we have a lot in common. .............................................................................................................................................................. Again,
please give your congregation our blessings and let them know that there are others who are holding them and you in prayer
and Christian love. Your congregation is blessed to have you! Praise God that you did not abandon them, as others
evidently did. We are so proud of your mighty congregation! God's peace this Holy Week and a joyful Easter-- Celia+ The Rev. Celia N. Ellery, Priest-In-Charge Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd Sharing

am a parish member from St. Barnabas in Denver. I have been following the recent news from Grace Church and St. Stephens
Parish. I personally am very supportive of acts taken and the courage demonstrated by the Parish members
continuing the membership within the Diocese of Colorado. I wanted to personally express my support through what I can
only imagine to be a very difficult and stressful time. ................................................................................................. My
thoughts and prayers are with you and may God continue to bless you. Sincerely, Kevin Lindahl ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear new Vestry and old friends, May the grace and peace of God be your unity.
